| About Our Company
The year 2013 marks a historic date for The Boat Place. We are celebrating 108 years in business in Port Jefferson.
From our humble beginnings to riding the top of the wave, we’ve been through a lot in the last century. We’ve helped introduce the joys of boating and fishing to thousands of families over the years. We’ve carried several boat lines, including ANA Skiffs, Bayliner, Buccaneer, Chris Craft, Cobia, Critchfield, Cutter, Larson, Manatee, Sea Star, Sportcraft, Sun Runner, Thompson, Tiara, Trojan, US Yacht (sailboats) and Viking. We are currently a successful broker and a dealer for Mercury, Mercruiser and Volvo Penta engines.
Four generations of Gudziks have been a part of our company history, and a fifth generation is just beginning to enjoy boating.
